Indoor R/C Flying and Micro FPV Racing Nights
at Turn 4 Hobbytown

During the colder months: Indoor Micro FPV Racing Nights at Turn 4 Hobbytown in West Boylston, MA. Flying of micro R/C aircraft, FPV, and FPV racing (with Tiny Whoops and FPV+ Inductrix-type quads). Tables and AC power available.

Cost is $7 per pilot per night if you're flying. (Free for spectators.) All experience levels welcome; happy to help out flyers new to the hobby or new to FPV. Main thing is have fun!

Races are timed using the RotorHazard Race Timing system.

Please keep all lipo batteries in fire-safe sacks or containers when not in use. Lipo sacks (and lots of other items) available for purchase on site. Snacks and drinks also available there.

If you're flying FPV, your transmitter power needs to be 25mW or less, and you need to be able to reliably configure your FPV video transmitter frequency. We'll be using frequency cards, on the IMD 6C frequency set: 5658 5695 5760 5800 5880 5917 MHz. You transmitter should only be powered on when you have a frequency card, and only on the given frequency.

If you need help configuring your video transmitter we'll be glad to assist and figure it out. Please be sure to coordinate with other FPV pilots before switching on your video transmitter, and be aware that operating your FPV vehicle too close to other pilots can "swamp out" their signal.

The fun happens in the back-room activity area. If the front door of the hobby shop is locked, you can enter using the side door. (The side door says "CTM Repair" -- if you enter and walk straight ahead you'll reach the Turn 4 Hobbytown activity area.)

See you there!
