Transmitter Switch Modes for ArduPilot
When operating an R/C vehicle with a control board like ArduPilot
/ ArduCopter / ArduPlane, a standard feature is the ability to switch
between flight modes (like "stabilized", "circle", "Return-To-Launch")
using switches on the transmitter. With the combination of a
two-position and a three-position switch, any one of six flight modes
can be selected. A good article on setting this up for various
transmitters is here.
Here are the settings for the transmitters I use:
Futaba 7C setup for six modes using switches D & G:
PARAMETR CH5-SW>G
E.POINT CH:5 UP 47% DN 48%
SUB-TRIM CH:5 GEAR>+60
P-MIX1 MAS>OFS SLV>CH5 SW>D-UP RT>-50%
Futaba 9C setup for six modes using switches C & D:
AUX-CH CH5=>Sw-C
SUB-TRIM 5:GEA=>-60
ENDPOINT 5:GEA 48% / 47%
REVERSE 5:GEA=REV
Mix PROG.MIX1
MAS=>OFST, SLV=>5, LINK=>ON, SW=>D, POSI=>DOWN
RATE=>+50%
Alternate Futaba 9C setup for six modes using switches C & D:
AUX-CH CH5=>Sw-C
SUB-TRIM 5:GEA=>-80
Mix PMX-6 CRV
MAS=>5, SLV=>5, LINK=>ON, SW=>D, POSI=>DOWN
POS 1=>-77%, (2=>-40%), 3=>-47%, (4=>+10%), 5=>+77%
(position 2 and 4 have no effect)
